I'm sure it varies depending on the game, but in your current save, what do you give your sims? At least the ones you like; I'm sure someone here will describe force-feeding a neglected stepchild bur...

With ani' s mod for the bistro set, my sim is the chef at a restaurant, so she autonomously orders food after her shift. :D
