What do you feed your sims?
I'm sure it varies depending on the game, but in your current save, what do you give your sims? At least the ones you like; I'm sure someone here will describe force-feeding a neglected stepchild bur...

I have an ongoing battle with my sims, because every single one of them seems to be intend on autonomously cooking a group meal (of varying quality) when they are hungry, even though the fridge is already full of leftovers.
Well, the oven is fire-proof, and most of them have a few skill points in cooking.
When I remember, I try to get them to learn their favourite meal. If a sim happens to need to master the cooking skill, I try to reign in the others, but mostly they feed themselves with whatever they seem fitting.
They never have a microwave though, because I had one really glitch up once, and now I´m kinda scared of them. They make do with a normal oven, the pizza oven, the baking station and sometimes that teppanyaki grill.
