Ha, Ha! No, not yet but they could be since Margo's favorite color is violet and Jarrod's is purple. Not sure why the game had them as separate colors. I like decorating with my Sims' favorite colors especially in the main areas of my single Sims. I try to save the other parts of the house for the favorite colors of his/her spouse and/or kids. So far, Margo likes her living area the best with 'Beautifully Decorated' moodlet and 'Nicely Decorated' in the other rooms.
One of the colours to favourite, introduced by Isla Paradiso, is Sea Foam ... have you read your myths lately, rather rude.
I like to give my sims their favourite colour car, and their bedroom decor. It gets tricky if the children inherit the favourites, then the garage ends up with a bunch of cars all the same colour. Or convenient, then after the elder croaks, or before, they can use it. Or usurp it. I suppose they could just change it.
A funny thing happened to one of my sims regarding favourites. While pregnant she ate all lobster thermidore. Can't remember why, probably practicing cooking it or something. Anyway, her baby's favourite turned out to be lobster thermidore. It wasn't the parents' favourite. I've tried recreating the phenomena, and with different foods, but I haven't had another sim manage to stick to the solid diet of one thing again, and I don't know if it works for a 'mostly this' and how much. It hasn't happened again.
