It's been four months since I published any posts on my four stories (Adam Servis, Precious Joy Forsythe, Marsden Farm, and Fields of Gold), so I can relate to not playing much for a while. The good news is that I don't have the stress from being pressured to publish four stories a week. Unfortunately, this also keeps me from starting back into any of the stories for fear that I will be tempted to publish them again every week.
I suppose I could commit to playing just one story and publish them randomly. I know I have several people who follow my blogs and read whatever I post there when it is published, and they don't seem to mind the gaps or even the content. 🙃
The trick is deciding which one I want to play. It's been so long, I will need to go back and reread the stories to see which one calls to me the most.
In the meantime, hubby and I paid for four annual subscriptions for EverQuest and have been playing that. It's been five years since I've played EQ, and I've forgotten many things in that time. I'm having fun, though.
Glad to see you had fun with your poses and CC in Monte Vista.
I am looking forward to your next videos. Stay cool, my friend. I'd send you some snow and sub-zero temps, but you probably wouldn't appreciate it. 😜
texansky Thank you. I am getting excited. The video I'm currently obsessed with finishing is getting very close to the end. The problem is, I don't think many people, if any, will want to watch it. I think I'll have to break it up into 4 or 5 or 6 parts and post them separately as shorter videos of less than 30 minutes each.
The thing is, I've now sent most of the family members to V City. I plan to send Generation 3 sims to a different world. Haven't decided which one yet. But the current bunch of Gen 1 and 2 sims in V City are alone with no other sims to interact with. So I grabbed a few extra sims from my library and added them to the world. As a result visiting the world is now much more interesting. But I decided I need to introduce viewers to the new sims in town. That video is taking me weeks to make. But it not only introduces the new sims, it also showcases the world a lot better than my previous videos have managed to do.
I think I"m on the third last household today with 2 more to go. Then it'll probably take me a few days to check it, add music and break it up into shorter videos. It is currently over 2 hours long so that's probably a bit too long for a Sims 3 video. There are lots of interesting things happening throughout it, with sims doing unexpected things and discovery of hidden features of the world.
As for the heat. It's still hot. Yesterday was fairly cool all day. I don't think it got over 31C (87.8 F) but it didn't get much below 29C so it was warm all day and night. I've never seen snow except off in the far distance on mountain tops when I visited Canberra.
Happy Simming
