@jillbg wow, that is a lot of writing! How long have you been doing the Grey Witches story? It's really amazing to see Simmers who can stick to a story or family for such a long time. I'm hoping to be able to do that with my X Legacy.
As of now, I'm thinking of adding a few mods to my game and adding some lots/premade EA families to my town just to spice things up a bit. What do you all think about mods?
Yeah, @ACB44, I can hardly believe I've come up with so much myself! But I love writing and playing the sims, it's my pleasure when all the schoolwork's done (I'm a high School teacher). I actually started my blog last July, because I wanted bigger and better pictures than the exchange could offer! ;) But the Grey Witches had been going on since spring, I think... My daughter, who's 14, was always reading the memories I created when playing (I play without memories now because of the lag they cause...) and asked me why I didn't write down my stories. So I did. And I'm happy a lot of people (almost 5,000!!!) read them and like them! :) I hope you will too!
Concerning mods: I totally agree with @TadOlson and @Enchantedprey, I don't know if I would have played TS3 this long without Twallan's mods! Nraas mods are all safe when downloaded at Nraas Industries. The guys who've picked up after Twallan are doing such a great job. I also play with some other mods to enhance the lightning , get better camera angles and to take away the Barbie/Ken effect (yeah, my sims actually make me blush sometimes now! ;) )

@jillbg-I love unpopulated worlds and it's better to upload the world empty and upload the families as households you can add to the world.I never upload populated worlds and don't always even remember to add lots to the world before exporting it and testing it in my game.It still works even if there are no lots in a new game.
I think I'll do just that, get my world TwinTowns on the exchange without households. The lots are there, with overhauled EA houses to be sure there's no bad CC... I prefer adding the lots before uploading and testplay my worlds, as they're easier to place in CAW...
Twin Towns is absolutely huge - more than 50 households and 60 something lots. It's actually divided into two towns-Falls Harbor and Fairvew Heights, separated by Bay bridge. It has all rabbitholes and entertainement that came with Late Night and Showtime, and almost all the other expansion pack's and store venues too. And it plays smoothly! With Nraas mods ofcourse ;)!

@TadOlson have you added overwatch from nraas too it catches problems in game like stuck sims when I ran it the first time it deleted 150 unused vehicles and unstuck 12 sims among other things
@Enchantedprey, believe it or not, but Iv'e had over 4,000 vehicles removed by Overwatch when playing Bridgeport... :o I just can't imagine the trouble it would have caused without Nraas - kudos Twallan!
