That's a lovely three-bedroom home. I love that you included the kitty condo for Kip. It provides both a bed and a scratching post.
Size and decor don't matter for this challenge as long as you have beds in the bedrooms, at least one dresser, dining furniture, kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
You don't need to include a TV, stereo, or computer unless you want to.
Of course, if your Sim is writing novels, a laptop, and a surface to place it (a dining table is fine) would be a priority to save going to the library to write.
