What happened in your sims 3 game today?

Welcome back to Emorrill's Random Gamplay: Revisiting Sam's Hidden Springs Edition - New Sims forum style! 😄

Anyhoo, let's begin!

So I moved on to the Song Family. I've been excited to revisit them since I had made some changes to them previously during Sam's story run. I'll show you those changes in a minute. 😊

First I found Andrew Song. Bet you can guess what his job is. 😉

I always get my sims out of their Career outfits before throwing them into CAS because I like to start with Everyday. AND, the career outfit category is a mess I very much like to avoid...

There we go. 👍🏻 He's such a cutie. 🥰

I will say that he has an odd lip shape, but it's not terrible:

^I do love his light stubble. Well done there EA. 👍🏻

Time for a new skin! ⭐ (You can hardly tell the difference huh? 😏)

I do think he has a very nice profile. 😊 Anyway, 

Originally Andrew and his wife Jewel do not have a child, but they had one in the course of Sam's story run. So I picked on him next. 🙃 His name is Lewis Song. 

He was BALD! 😮

I very much remember giving him hair, so once again this was a case of deleting a cc hair I didn't think I was using or liked...sigh. (Will it ever end? 😆)

But I sure have plenty of hairs to choose from now so this is the one I went with. 😊

Anyway, once Jewel got home, I honed in on her:

Now...some of you might notice that she looks familiar... 🤔

Not in the sense that she is Jewel Song from Hidden Springs because...she's not! 😃

I just really wasn't a fan of the original Jewel and how she looks (you can see her picture and full description HERE) and so I ended up swapping her out with Sun Young Kim from Shang Simla! 😁

At the time of Sam's story run there was a lot of discussion on the main, awesome Sims 3 thread on how gorgeous Sun Young Kim is and that she is a rare gem in the good looking premades department. (Thank you for that info CravenLestat <---I'm not sure if that's his proper tag - and he changed his name back to it on here - but whatever. 😛) So that was another reason why I wanted to add her to my favorite world and see what appearances she would make in Sam's story pictures. 😊 Moving on!

I really don't mind the color of the EA skin that she comes with...

But I wanted to make it lighter...and give her some better makeup. 👍🏻

She really is gorgeous. 💜

I love the short hair on her too. 

And this outfit very much suits her as well. ⭐

Her Formal and Outerwear outfits were hideous. Well, more the Outerwear one which was this: 😬

Her Formal wear...I dunno I just felt like this really wasn't her style. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But then again I think some folks might disagree with me. I do like the blue color. 

Anyway, now that the family makeovers were done, I took a look at their house.

There's A LOT of empty space in their house to work with. Check it out:

And there was no crib for Lewis. 🤦🏻‍♀️(How did I miss adding that previously!?)

So I had my work cut out for me. 😃

I didn't want to bore y'all with pictures of all the changes I made to the house, but I did take a picture of this lovely parakeet photo in the bathroom because I haven't used it in years and I thought it fit perfectly. ⭐

When all that was done, I had Jewel get right to work potty training Lewis. 

POO FACE Y'ALL!!! 🤣 You know I had to do it. 😉

And this is exactly why I place a trash can in every bathroom, especially when there's a toddler in the house. Easy clean up. 👍🏻

It was a hard day of potty training, and Jewel didn't feel like cooking, so she ordered a pizza. 🍕

Oh no!! The pizza delivery boy is GREEN too!! 😦 (Although my initial thought was, "You have got to be kidding me..."🤦🏻‍♀️)

Well you can guess where I threw him...

He looks like an Alien...which made me pause and wonder if I should change that or not.

However I noticed that he didn't have any alien eye sliders, and has the ugly green hair, so he was another one of the green sim originals 🙄 so I fixed him up. 

Much better. ⭐

I was too lazy to fix his ugly green hair so I didn't. 😆😶

Jewel sure was happy to smell some hot and fresh pizza and looked up at me - the Goddess - in thanks. 😁

After dinner she decided to go swimming in their pool...in the Fall. 🥶 I was just like, "Alright...you do you, boo boo." 😂

In the meantime, Andrew fed Lewis:

And began teaching Lewis how to talk. 💙

Of course Jewel came back into the house chilled to the bone, so I had her take a nap in front of the fireplace. 🔥

Soon it was time for bed, so mommy took Lewis up to his brand new crib and kissed him goodnight before tucking him in. I love this picture. 💗

Anyway, I'm going to stop my post here because I fear getting logged out again while I'm putting all this together. I'll pick up later with a new household. 🙂
