Opened the game again to start to prepare the next update to my story (it's gonna be a christmas update, since my story is still in december 2023). I continued off from last time, just before/during bedtime and then I noticed that the Curious household was one bed short... their tenant, Tay Bayless, had no place to sleep, so I quickly expanded their basement to give him his own room...
I didn't clutter it to much, it's not going to be an important room as far as the story goes (or I haven't planned for it to be). Just a place for a side character to sleep. ;)
Tay Bayless is a young adult here, but has the childish personality trait, so I made the room a little childish. His favourite colour is also orange..
It's just a simple bedroom.
It's located partially below the entrance area and the kitchen.
Looks great Sprottenham 😃👍🏻 Perfect decor and style for Tay. He always has a soft spot in my heart. 😊
emorrillAw, thanks. ;) Can I ask why he has a soft spot in your heart? :P From my perspective, he's a character that I hardly know, and what I do know about his family comes from what I read on the sims wiki, which is uhmm.... interesting. Apparenly his mothers profile references something really weird about their family tree....
Maybe I should start checking out the premade sims bios. I never really thought there would be anything written in there already. Now I need to confirm if this is actually the case, and/or if my translated version of the game still has the same reference. ;)
Also, initially I wanted to give him a room on a floor above ground, but the reason for the room ending up in the basement is because I have already used outside screenshots of their house for the story, and of course adding an additional room there is impossible without changing the exterior look of the house.. so.. poor Tay then had to get a room in the basement instead.. >_>Lol Sprottenham 😆 I understand. 👍🏻
Tay was adopted into my Holland Family Story...by marrying one of the Holland daughters. 😊 It's a long story, but basically he asked her, Molly, to Prom and she didn't want to hurt his feelings by saying No (cause he's homely looking as we all know - especially with those giant ears! 😬) and they ended up having a really fun time together. So much so, that she ended up getting pregnant that evening... 😜 Yeeeeah, I went all sorts of life directions with my Holland Family story and it was FUN! 😃 They married later because of it. And more drama happened between them. 😏
