What happened in your sims 3 game today?

Alllllrighty y'all! It's time for another episode of: Emorrill's Random Gameplay: Revisiting Sam's Hidden Springs World Edition! 😁 (I dunno why I always title the post like that. It's just fun and silly. 😜)

The next family I picked on to give subtle makeovers to is the Toyota Prius Family! 😃 I popped them down into the world sometime during Sam's story run. They're from the Sims 3 store, and you were supposed to get them when you got the Toyota promotional cars - I think? - but it turns out I didn't 🤷‍♀️ so I ended up downloading the family from the Exchange later that someone so graciously shared. (I do not remember who they are, but thank you to that person if they ever see this. 💜) Apparently there were 4 different families...but anyhoo! I just know this family of 4 to be the Toyota Prius family.

Before I reveal the family, I just wanted to show off the house I moved them into. It's one of CarlDillynson 's magnificent home creations from MTS. Check it out!

Because they have two kids, I added a playground area to the backyard, complete with a treehouse. 😊

And of course, I got them a couple of Toyotas! 😉👍🏻

I was playing around with roof decorations and thought this one fit perfectly and looked great above the garage door. 😊

Alright, so let's meet the The Haskins Family! (For those of you who aren't already familiar with them. 🙂)

Of course I had to check out the dad first 😏 and holy cow does he have one strong jaw and wide chin! 😮

He's staring at their new home in awe...

He even turned to his wife and was like, "Wow. We've done pretty good for ourselves haven't we babe?" 

And she's all like, "Yeah we have!" 😄

Anyway, into CAS the dad went. 

Everyone meet Mike Haskins:

He's a pretty handsome sim. But he's gonna look even more handsome once I'm done with him. 😏

With some new skin, eyes, and a little facial stubble...

Anyway, his clothing wasn't bad. I liked his white Formal suit and camouflage Athletic wear:

Moving on to his wife now...

Everyone meet Tanya Haskins:

After giving her my special touches...

Y'all I totally could've given her a better hairstyle, but as much as I wanted to do that, I felt in that moment to keep her true to her original look. So I did. 👍🏻 (I mean, the EA hairs gotta get some love sometimes, am I right? 😜)

I really didn't like the khaki color of her capri's - with that shade of blue on her shirt...

...so I changed them to white. It just looks better that way to me. 🤍
(Sc'rew the whole "no wearing white pants after labor day" thing! 😈😛)

Her default Formal dress was ok...

But I went with this instead. Cause I felt like it. 🤪

I didn't think I could recolor this cc dress, so I was quite happy. 😊

Naturally, her Outerwear was gross:

Better. 👍🏻

Back in LIVE mode, she looked up at me - the Goddess - like, "Thank you so much for making me beautiful. 💜 I've never felt so renewed."

And now on to the children. 🙂 They have a boy and a girl, both at Child stage. I'm pretty sure they are fraternal twins based on their names. 

Let's meet the girl first. Her name is Jessie:

For fun, I aged her up to YA to see how she would look.

***Drumroll***

***Cymbal Bash!***

Well that was quite anti-climactic... 😐

It didn't take me long to discover that she is a pudding sim...with her mother's haircolor. That's it.

Lame.

But easy on EA's part. I get it. (They could've done MUCH worse!! 😬 As we all know.)

So back to Jessie's makeover, here she is after my special touches. 😊

It's fun getting an opportunity to use my MLP patterns! 😁🥰

After her makeover, she looked up at me in LIVE mode as well and asked, "Are you done yet? I wanna play!" 😄

Lastly, I'd like y'all to meet James:

I also aged him up to YA to see how he would look also and I won't do a drumroll this time because he is an exact clone of his DAD!

^I might've taken this picture after I changed his eye shape so he wouldn't be an exact clone, but whatever! 

It was at that point that I wondered why EA didn't just make Jessie an exact clone of her mother as well instead of a boring pudding sim, but I'm going off track. 🙃

Moving on!

I always forget that I have these cute video game shirts for boys. 😊

Normally I don't like the "muscles" shirt and almost always switch it out, but this time, I left it. 

The kid can dream, right? 😆

^And yes I did swap out those shoes. 😆

He's a real cutie in LIVE mode. 😊

Now it was time to Play the family. 
(I definitely needed to test the routing in the house...)

The shoreline wasn't very far from their backyard, and so I sent Tanya to play in the water. 💦 It was such a gorgeous scene!

James went for a swim as she did so:

Then he joined his mom to play in the water.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Mike started preparing dinner while Jessie did her homework. 🙂

Tanya went off to work, I think. (She's Military) So that's why there are only 3 place settings at the dinner table.

Jessie: "Gee dad, these are the best hot dogs you've ever cooked!"
Mike: "Why thank you sweetie."

James made it to the table just before Mike finished.

James: "Wow!" gulp "Dad made these?"
Jessie: "Yep!"
James: "They're awesome! Better than how mom makes them!"
Jessie: "I know!"

The next evening, Tanya was invited to the Vanderburg's house party! 😃 Quite the honor! So of course she put on her best makeup and dress. ⭐

She stayed out pretty late at the party - 1 am if I recall. She crashed when she got home. 😛

And of course that's the night a burglar decides to show up! 🙄

Since Tanya is in the military, she swiftly dealt with the intruder! 

Goddess was impressed! 😏

Victory was Tanya's!! 🏆

I decided to conclude playing with the Haskin's family on that high note. 😊

I did have Mike join the Acrobat career so we'll see how that goes. 😆👍🏻 But we all know who wears the pants in this family... 😏 LOL!

I'd like to post more, but I'm pretty sure I've already been logged out of the forum (again and again!) as I am typing this... 🙄 So I'll probably do another post right after this one. 

It'll get better on here my friends. It just has to! 🙏🏻
