- @Nikkei_Simmer hehe, that is what testingcheats...etc is for, slide that slider right up and no more need to potty and spend those points elsewhere :) My sims do eat and shower and sleep though.
- WatrDragon8 years agoSeasoned AceAlways steel bladder. Makes things so much easier. After that, often observant.
- MidnightAura868 years agoSeasoned AceI chose this because my sims all seem to have a hidden inappropriate trait and seem to rub people up the wrong way at times. Plus it’s easier for socialising amd making friends.
- siblaime8 years agoNew SpectatorObservant, because I'm tired of situations when my sim has a best friend/boyfriend/girlfriend known for a long time and still doesn't know his/her traits.
Sometimes I choose attractive too :) - In recent times I have been cheating to give my sim children Long Distance Friend first because it breaks my heart when I get a popup that an aunt or uncle is no longer their friend just because they didn't have time to talk to them for a few days.
In the past, Observant was always the first one I gave them because I like the charisma skill and knowing 50 traits is good for one of the challenges that come with that skill. Apart from the points needed for Long Distance Friend, my children don't get any more until they earn the points and I always give the same set of LTRs in the same order and, once they are older and their personalities are known, I give them LTRs specific to each sim. By the time my sims are teens they all have (in this order) Long Distance Friend, Observant, Fast Learner, Steel Bladder. After that, they get LTRs that suit them. - Fast learner. I love for my sims to have lots of skills. :)
- suzses8 years agoSeasoned AceI usually go for simunity first. I just find allergies/illness annoying and want them gone. Plus, as someone else mentioned, it's a cheap reward.
Second for my adult sims is likely long-distance friend, and for kids it will usually be fast learner. Not too into the ones that slow needs, probably because I gave my very first athletic sim the one that diminishes the need to sleep, and his working out ALL THE TIME made me crazy.
Things like extra creative, or whichever like it that fits what my sim is/does, usually get picked up eventually, and I like someone in the household to have a collection helper, which often gets passed to the next generation.
@Odonata68 I didn't know what inappropriate in a good way does. I have to try that out! - Dreamerz138 years agoSeasoned HotshotAlways the needs. The less needy my sims are the better.
- MamaSimTee8 years agoNew SpectatorAlways simmunity. The allergies, getting sick, irks me, especially early in the game when I'm trying to establish them in the neighborhood. I quickly follow up with Observant and Long Distance friend. I don't mind the needs, because I'll admit it, I cheat sometimes and just refresh everything if I need to, but I like having my SIM trying to balance their life, much like real life.
- SillyHartluv8 years agoRising ScoutI absolutely must have the fireproof homestead. I usually play in houses with fireplaces. My sims usually have no skills so they tend to start kitchen fires. The next one I always get-and have yet to learn my lesson after having triplets and quads-is the fertility treatment. I always give it to both parents because I am a glutton for punishment.
