what just happened..
I've been doing this legacy for three in-game days.. and this just happened.. I should be excited but now I feel like the challenge is pointless, why couldn't this happen in my regular gameplay LOL ...

There's a chart on the Sims Wiki as to how prizes are weighted. Is your sim lucky?
Money making is so easy in TS3 that I don't touch that little game. :^D (It's more fairly weighted in TS4, you almost never win)
