@igazor - Almost, but not quite as what I have happening. Yes, the townies are drawn to the place, in a specific time frame, but there are no crowds. It is literally arrive, touch foot to ground and then turn and leave; they don't try to go inside of the gate. There's nothing wrong with the lot (or any of the graveyards) in any of my worlds and, as I mentioned in the opening post, I did replace the Graveyard in Los Simles with one I built; and they still do it. I tested this on both my PC's. Pure Base and 1.67, they go to the Graveyard in both.
I'm glad (not happy glad) that you (and others) have personally experienced something close (most likely exactly this with the lot being the only difference). Makes me feel less alone when trying to explain it to others. Although, I do believe if it were a building they were trying to access, in the morning they would be met with an empty lot ;).
