What's so attractive about the Graveyard?

I have a save in Midnight Hollow that the townies visit the graveyard. I only noticed it as one of my sims lived next door to the graveyard and I noticed groups visiting it periodically. I kinda thought it was a MH thing since I'd never seen it before. MH is a particularly unusual town with unusual townies. It is usually only one or two families at a time. I had a couple of families I rotated playing and noticed when I was not controlling the other they would cruise the graveyard at least once a week.

I've never seen this in any other town I played in. I do see sims visit occasionally, but not like what happens in MH. I have a save in Bridgeport that I've been playing about 8 months or so, and never see it there. I did disable the bar at the graveyard by removing it though. Got enough bars in that town! My save has all the original townies in it, plus those I've added. All they do is fall in love, marry, have kids, divorce, fall in love, have kids, marry and then divorce. I definitely think they coded the relationships different in BP. It is the rare sim that has stayed with the original partner in that town.
