You had asked about how long it would take for a Sim to get to work in Alryne Valley. For reference, I had one of my Sims drive from the lot to the left of the abandoned farmhouse (point A.) to the science facility (point B.). It took him about one Sim hour to drive that distance.

I also had the Sim drive from their home in Alryne Court to the stadium. It took 42 Sim minutes. (The road leading to Alryne Court is the second road going south from downtown. It curves around to the east. His house is the farthest east on that road.)

I also had him drive from the end of Ocean View Road near the beach to the town hall. It took 25 minutes. (Apparently, none of the pictures I have for Alryne Valley have that road which is located 4 blocks east of the stadium and heads south for 3 blocks. It's a total distance of about 10 city blocks of 64x64 lots from that lot to the town hall.)
