What's your Longest Unborked Family tree?

I did an A-Z Generation and made it to Z 26 Generations I am continuing with the same family from where I left off as another A-Z, Zack had a son and is named Dewey Dexter after his Grate + Grandfather from 26 generations ago. I love this family. so the Dexter's are now on their 29th generation with Dewey Dexter, Alex Dexter and now Brandon Dexter who is now a teenager.
My first A-Z Dexter family, I kept in a notebook, it is so amazing to look back and see all their likes and what they accomplished, and if they birth their child or adopted, the date they died or born. I am continuing on with the Dexter's until I reach Z again.
It does take quite a long time as I play out each age group to their fullest , I am in no hurry, just love playing with this family. and out of all the Dexter Generations, only one sim worked, one adopted into the family worked as a journalist. No one has ever gone to School.
When Brandon gets married I am sending them to Paris for their honeymoon. Brandon is marrying his Imaginary Friend. His Father is giving them a bottle of the portion to turn IM into real, incase their son has a IF and wants to do this.

Oh by the way when I reached Generation Z my 26 Generation the Sims 4 came out a week later. I went to sims 4 and tried to start the Dexter there but it did not seem the same
So when I came back to sims 3 that is when I started to continue with my Dexter, I am back in love with the Dexter's and Sims 3 and hope to make it to Z with my Dexter's again if I am still around. I am over the hill, but young at heart. Having fun with sims 3 and the Dexter's. I will post some pictures later. Maybe when the Dexter's get to Paris, on their Honeymoon. I get carried away playing and forget to take pictures.

@Evalen 29 generations is amazing! That must have taken you a very long time. I'm still playing through my 10 generations which has taken me 6-7 years. Still in the original Sunset Valley on the original lot. This is an older pic.

@Coco You are right it did take a long time, I did not realize how long it was until sims 4 came out. it is the only family I play, I only played the Dexter's and still do. I was already retired when I started the Sims 3 and still am so I have a lot of time to play. Its called addiction :) . Somehow I can not let go of the Dexter's. My Sims only have one child. They have never had more then one child, so the playtime is all on them. Time flies when you are having fun, I get lost and caught up in time when I am playing, hours goes by. Sometimes I am almost late for things if I start playing before I leave. then I have to let go and get going with my life. But so what, I am retired and can do as I please except important things, that get in the way of my Sims. I guess they are part of my family and I love playing with them. I hope that I will keep playing until I walk on streets of Gold. Funny thing I was in someone's house the other day and I laughed to myself, they had all Mission furniture just like in the sims.

This is Brandon and his future wife his IF, they are teens, I did change his hair as it was blond like his mother. I always change their hair to red as that is what I want and they all have Love the outdoors trait.

I am on the sixth generation of my game now. Unfortunately I can't get a picture of the family tree to upload to here (If anyone could help with that it would be appreciated) . My game is on Week 51 Day 4. My game can take between half an hour and 2 hours to load.

Oh...great...thank you. Now I've got the idea of doing the "Swedish Chef" Legacy... on Sims 3. :p Oh...that poor line..."borked" right from the very beginning. :p And considering I don't understand what the heck that Muppet is going on about...I think he speaks Simlish fluently.

I only started playing again last November after a 2 year break. Prior to last year, my game was only patched as far as Ambitions and was very stable and I believe my longest single save family was about 20 generations. Now that I have a higher patch level and more EPs installed my game is not so stable but, thanks to mods, I can move my family while keeping the family tree intact. My current save, which I am playing on a slightly modified long lifespan, has been going since early February I believe. Here is the family tree as of today :)

About 12 or so. It was back in like 2009-10 so I cant remember which exact generation(s) but two of my favorite sims were Mick and his aunt Athena. She was at the top of the political career and dressed very uppidy even though she was goth, and I actually cried when she died. Mick was at the top of the criminal career, was the ONLY sim I've ever had arrested, and outlived 3 of his 4 children. I think they mightve been like generation 6 and 7, but as I said its been a long time.

The most right now for me is 10. And the way to not have the bug of townies all dying and your family is all thats left is that you either let nrass story progression handle it, or do it like i do and go into edit town and make new households and use the freerealestate cheat to get them into the home you want them to live in.
