When did you first start playing the sims

I don’t remember the year, but I remember I first played The Sims 1 with my cousin on her dads desktop in his office and we were around 7/8 years old I think. I remember loving it, and since then, once i was old enough, I began my journey with my own copies starting with The Sims 2. It’s been my comfort game for about two decades <3

I used to play The Sims on my iPod touch back in 2011 and 2012. I think I remember buying it on the iTunes store for like $5 or $6,it was worth it. I played Sim City 2000 a bunch when I was a kid, but that was my first experience with The Sims. When I was 19, I bought The Sims 3 for $20 in late 2016 with my real adult money B) I was absolutely hooked, I probably have 300+ hours on it, and I'm catching up to that in TS4.

I used to play Sims 2 Pets on gamecube back in 2007 (or somewhere before 2009, can't remember exactly). That was my first time playing Sims. I made a lot of characters in that game. They were always in some sort of drama. Not too long after, the game was sold along with Nintendo games. I started Sims 3 in 2012 or 2013 when I got my first laptop. I would play with it whenever I got home from school (high school). In recent years, I've been on-and-off when it comes to playing either Sims 3 or Sims 4.

My Daughter actually discovered our 1st Sims game back in 2011. It was The Sims 3 PC games. We were so naive that we didn't even know that we needed a Base game before a pack. So after realizing that we couldn't install out 1st pack without the Base, we went back to the store where the sales clerk explained it to us. Lol :D
Then around 2012 or 2013, I got The Sims Medieval on PC. B)
Once our Sims 3 kept just freezing up every 10 minutes back in early 2014, we had to stop playing it. :'(
As of September 2014 we immediately got Sims 4, even though at the time was a nothing, nothing game, no toddlers, no basements, etc, etc... :/

In the fall of 2018, I discovered that somehow Sims 3 was fixed & refreshed. :) Unfortunately, I didn't have the original disks anymore. :s So, I just began with the Starter Bundle & slowing just got the packs that weren't in my Sims 4. :* I now only play one or two households in Sims 3 because I'm more of a Sims 4 gamer now. :p However, once in a while I go back to my Sims 3 to play actual Fairies, Genies, Heartshape Bed, Drums, Cars, Invention Station & Color Wheel on everything; basically everything that's still missing in Sims 4. ;)

I started off with sims 2 when I was 5 y/o! I remember my mam often travelled to Ukraine and often found discounted games on sale at the markets and she would bring a handful of random games that looked "kid friendly" and sims 2 was one of them! I remember playing it in Russian and I had no idea how to read in that language yet and would just make my sims do a ton of random stuff lol.

One day I accidentally deleted the ladder in the Smith's household and was absolutely devastated to see my fave sim, Jill Smith, drown. I screamed when the grim reaper showed up!!!

Later in 2009 I heard that sims 3 came out and I have been obsessed since!!! Myself and my friends would play together very often and would even create some of our dolls and toys in the game! Today I play lots of challenges and legacies and still find new things out about the game <3
