- Bettyboop557 years agoSeasoned AceI have to remind myself to take a break otherwise I have hubby yelling that he hasn't seen me in over five hours and am I still alive ? Losing myself in the game is one of the most entertaining and relaxing things I know. Almost as good as losing yourself in a good book :D :D
- Dreamerz137 years agoSeasoned HotshotMy life in general. Can't focus on the same task for more than 5 minutes lol. It is especially bad when playing sims though.
- Mine is a combination of option 1 and option 3. :) It just all depends on how much time I have and whether I'm posting my random gameplay pics or stories on the thread.
Oh and @Bettyboop55 Ditto to what you said. - It can be a mix of any of the above options though the first one is usually because I lose track of time and still stop to save as frequently and it's more likely to happen if the full moon comes up or I wanted to play for a longer session and was switching families.
- Hejix7 years agoSeasoned NewcomerBut it is on pause half the time for screenshots or writing down notes or taking care of family members. I don't go on the forum while playing because it takes away the immersion.
- AlexaKry7 years agoSeasoned AceI always play for hours straight, just stopped by saving (where I could do other household-related things in the real world, somebody has to eat or clean after, right?1?)
But in this play sessions it depends, which family or world I play at that time. If I play a world for the first time to prepare it, so that my Sims can visit it as a holiday destination or have a new permanent place to live, I play for hours, rebuilding the world, so that it fits my needs, getting to know the Sims already living in it, getting a "feeling" for the world.
Then there is my main save and here it depends, which family I play with, if I stop literally every minute to take screenshots just to remember what they did or if I just play with them or if I just build or... there are a lot of things too do!
And sometimes I´m a bit bored by my playstyle, then I play on my phone or get into the internet to distract me there, but I always go back to the game and play a few minutes, then go back to the internet or my phone... It´s a vicious circle I´m trapped in, it really is awful to be addicted to adruggame! ;) - It's kind of a mix. I can play for HOURS. Or I can ignore the game for hours depending on my mood. I might completely forget I opened the game while streaming something else, or sometimes I've had my fill and do the same thing, but don't want to wait for it to boot up again later.
- I sometimes play for long hours at a time, sometimes for shorter sessions, but I'm almost always taking screen shots that I will go through at a later time only keeping the better pictures. Occasionally I will post a few of those to the forum.
- lowpolygal7 years agoSeasoned AceWell, I went with Other simply because... there are times when I play for hours without interruptions and there are days when I just load the game to check on something or to use cas (like yesterday). Then there are days when I pause during a session and look something up online about the game I forgot or I don't know how to do (this is also when I check on the forums and give awesomes  )... sometimes I end up playing a game on my phone... just because  (this happened today  ).
But it doesn't matter how long I'm playing or how many interruptions I have, I take as many screenshots as I can, I picked up this habit some months after I started playing the game because I used to be part of another forum and there I shared my legacy for a while  . Right now I would like to share more of my game here... but my own insecurities won't let me :disappointed: . So I share just a little bit here and there on some threads, so far it's been nice  - WatrDragon7 years agoSeasoned AceThe PC I play Sims on is usually not online, so normally I have my laptop somewhere playing youtube videos for some backround noise. I also use the laptop to look up names or something while the game is saving, not much more though. When I play, I play.
On weeknights when I had work, my play sessions are only about one hour or so (if I play at all, that is), because I have to stare at a screen at work all day and just can´t concentrate any longer. At the weekend I can play for two or three hours.
