When you play tropical worlds do you still allow fall and winter?
I love Sunlit Tides right now, but I just can't bear to part with fall and winter. They're the best seasons! So it's going to be snowing on some palm trees soon. C'est la vie.

I play a 91 day life cycle with 7 days for each season in all my worlds. I use Sims 3 options to turn off hail. I use NRaas Tempest to adjust the temperature and the weather for each world and to reduce the amount of rain in all worlds. I use 2 main weather temperature setups.
1. the original temperatures and in addition to less chance of rain less severe snow storms. I also add more sunny days so sometimes although it may snow overnight, during the day the sun will come out and shine on the snow. For Aurora Skies and Hidden Springs and other snowy worlds I leave the more plentiful snow during winter.
2. tropical temperatures with no snow but a little extra rain in winter. For Lucky Palms and other desert worlds I use the tropical temperatures but with much less rain.
