Christmas comes in summer here, and we celebrate it on Dec 25 like everyone else who celebrates it. It is in summer, not winter. I've never had a snowy Christmas, but being able to sit outside in shorts and t-shirt with an icy cold cocktail and go swimming is really nice. Provided it isn't too hot.
My sims have holidays whenever they roll around in game. I haven't used tempest, I'm always a bit daunted by a bunch of new settings, and I'm easily confused, but I'd like to have my sims seasons the same as my own one day. With the exception of spooky day. I'd like for that to stay in the autumn, because it's weird having it in spring when the weather in nice. It should be chilly, and leafy.
