I don't play in Isla Paradiso. Too laggy and I love having all four seasons. Other worlds that have beaches, I keep the winter/snow because I live in Florida and live through my sims. Lol.
Snow's great until you have to shovel it for real. :D cheers from CANADA... :D THAT was why I moved from Edmonton to Vancouver. :D three feet of snow...every winter was not my idea of a fun time. Now I get to belly-ache about the torrential rain, every winter on the WET Coast and every spring my sinuses go frickin' insane - AHHH CHOO!!!. That and the fact that I'm getting OLD and cranky.
You just can't win, can you! I live in Michigan where we get lake effect snow. Fun, fun, fun!
Lake effect snow. OUCH... :D So how many times have you had to dig out your car from three to four feet of snow? :D That...lake effect can be pretty nasty in terms of quantity of snow generated.
Nope...can't win for for the life of me. If it wasn't snow in Edmonton, it's rain here...and dodging umbrellas so that you don't get poked in the eye.

Thankfully, we live at the edge of the lake effect's reach, so we don't get it as bad as my parents, who live 12 miles west of us. My husband has a pickup truck with a snowplow, so he goes and takes care of it for them too.
