Which aquarium was it, the one where you can breed fish in it?

Yes they can breed in the Heils Aquarium as well.

To clarify you have to stock it with fish. You can pick several kind to stock it with by clicking on it or you can put fish in your sims inventory in the aquarium which holds up to 6. If you want them to spawn thou you should only put 4 or less.

There is also an option to clean it and feed the fish.
