I voted Showtime, because I think that pack has more to actually do for your sims. Although Pets does have the horses and unicorns, they are really fun to train and work with. Showtime comes with new open careers though, doing performances ánd (if you’re into that) a very well done life state (the genie).
But to end it the way I always end in topics like this: afaic you can’t go wrong ;) Pets has the better world imo by the way.
