he Grey Lady's plan is to move things forward. She wants to see work on a Strong and Stable The Sims 5 which would have open world, all life stages, customisation and a CAW tool. In other words like TS3 but with better graphics and even more options.

The Messiah has different plans. He wants to move all Sims into TS4 focusing on whims, walk styles and 'emotions'
This will be a Sims game for the many, not the few although who that few is is not yet specified but not worry. There is a new world in the 'Get Famous' EP where every Sim can be rich and famous. Shame about those loading screen though!
