I only ever really-really played Sims 3. I was too young for 2 (I did play it but barely) and then I got sims 3 as a gift cus our sims 2 disc was broken. I was still very young though, so I didn't have my own pc/ didn't know about computer specs/ didn't fully get the game and therefore couldn't enjoy it to the fullest, but I still collected a lot of content along the way because I still loved it and am a completionist. When sims 4 came out I was literally JUST at the edge of having 'figured it all out' and JUST completed my EP's and SP's collection. I (well, my parents, in gifts over time) put a lot of money into it, there was a LOT of content, and I didn't vibe with the style of Sims 4 so it would be a shame to start investing in a game I didn't really like the style of anyway all over again. I just continued playing sims 3 - "better" than ever before (getting to more than 3 generations of a family! actually completing ltw's! Writing somewhat coherent stories!) - and STILL love it and still feel like I haven't done everything it has to offer after 14 years.
