I still play Sims 3. In so many ways, it feels more immersive than Sims 4. I play Sims 4 but Sims 3 and 2 are still better in many ways in my opinion. The Sims themselves have more personality, especially in Sims 2. I also adore Open for Business in Sims 2. I really appreciated that we could use SimCity to build neighborhood maps for it.
I love the open world in Sims 3, World Adventures, and Supernatural. The occults are more well developed and really affect how the game is played. For example, in my game townie witches constantly autonomously cast spells on themselves and other sims. Townies randomly turn into occults.
Years back, I went on an achievement hunting binge in Sims 3. I have all but two of the in-game ones. Sadly those missing ones are glitched. Good luck to you Rflong7 in your badge endeavor.
