Intel HD graphics is never a good choice for Sims 3 :(
Depending on the exact model of the graphics card you will be able to play base game with low settings, or - with higher models maybe one or two expansion packs. Most trouble you will have with Pets, Seasons, Isla Paradiso, as they need powerful graphics card.
