window 10 april update

  • Sorry, but that article is not at all relevant to TS3 and most TS3 players by now are on 64-bit operating systems. There is no reason ever having been stated that 64-bit Windows will at some point anywhere in the near future stop running 32-bit applications. Microsoft put that layer into the 64-bit operating systems on purpose long ago and has no reason to remove it now (as Apple has unfortunately done with the current versions of the macOS).
  • Quote from the linked article:

"Of course, it’s possible to run a legacy 32-bit application on a 64-bit operating system. This is a common practice. Monitoring of such applications will continue to be supported. So, if you’re running a 64-bit OS and your application is an older 32-bit binary, your application will continue to run and be monitored correctly. Consequently, you won’t be impacted by this desupport plan."

So, it looks like there's no reason to "cry wolf" this time, eh...? :)
