And I thought I was finally done with homework for good.
I pretty much always play on a normal lifespan, and my child/teen sims almost never to their homework at home. If the children go to school in a good mood and "work on late homework" first, by the end of day 2 they all have A's. The only distinction is that ambitious kids can switch to "meet new friends," while non-ambitious ones have to "work hard" for the rest of the school day. I sometimes have teens do one day of homework if I want them meeting new friends right away, but usually I don't bother. And they do still gain *experience* while they're doing the homework.
I also noticed years ago, after I patched the game and installed my first mods (so I don't know which caused it), that the students would start to gain on homework as soon as they arrived at school, even if they were early. I think they do it on the bus, too, although they mostly just teleport there to save time.
Since I always did as little homework in school as I could possibly get away with, I'm glad I can impart the same... let's go with "efficient"... philosophy to my sims.
