If you have the Multitab from the sims 3 store you also can click on photography tabcast and can master the skill in one day.A level every 2 hours and your sim can do other tasks while listening to the tabcast.I recommend you buy that item it is great your sim can also buy books online with it.There is a thread devoted to getting that Technophobe set practically free.
You also can play games on it to raise fun and social also has tabcasts to learn
