NO Tangie - we have always had Blue Cross and Blue shield, Major Medical - work group insurance and what I had up through December 2012. So I have no idea what medicare/Medicaid offered. The only reason I know it is bad now compared to what it was are the couples at our church who have complained recently at the changes in their coverage that went into affect since March and how much more they are paying for far less covered medical and how much higher their co-pays have increased. Granted the people I have discussed this with are full retirement aged (65 or older) but they agree I have the same they have now. Seems before they got dental and eye care and now they have to pay separate - they were allowed before to get doctor decided tests and now they are limited to government controlled once a year tests. So I have the info to go by from those who have already been on this - but nothing to go by in my own life.
By the way Pete says it is medicare - not Medicaid. Medicare is federal. Medicaid is state and has nothing to do with Obamacare. I don't get any Medicaid and never have. In NH they only offer that to people with kids 18 and under (that might have been raised if kids still live at home to 23 I think) - but NH doesn't give you Medicaid if you don't have kids.
