One house is not worth having a world issue IMHO. I went with a replacement house that DD recommended to use in that spot instead.
I think you are right, and I will leave that lot empty since there are no empty lots on that island. Since it seems to work fine when you place it in edit town mode, I think I will place it in the save game file. It seems to work fine then and only acts up when placed in CAW EIG mode.... maybe Tangie is correct and it is some store content that disagrees with CAW. ?? Or as Reggie says maybe it is the door being on the side of the lot not the front ?? who knows .. CAW is really finicky sometimes!
