It is one of the many mysteries of CAW. I recall Gem had that issue with this lovely high rise high class Gym she had in the seaport downtown area of her first big world (lothorien) and it seemed no matter what we tried it kept coming up with that negative price and I know she did not use moo, every door on the place faced a road - but finally I believe she did end up saving it to the bin and replacing it and it fixed it - but we tried everything to figure out what caused it and really never found an answer. She only had ep stuff in there - so sometimes there is just not an answer. It is like how sometimes a building may show problems for one simmer and show no problems for another. That is not even logical when everyone has downloaded the same world - but I have seen it happen.
It probably goes back to the sometimes crazy work a rounds that acting CEO talked about in that review he had with Plugged In magazine about the game engine Sims 3 is on never being properly finished - as it seems things needed to be done with it, that didn't even exist at the time. It is much easier to see how things can be illogical after reading that review even if they don't make any sense.
