Thanks for the heads up on the leaked TS4 photos, DM.
I don't know how the rest of you feel but after I saw the first few photos I was...rather horrified. :shock:
After seeing just about all the pictures out there since last evening, I have tempered my initial reaction a bit. I'm not in love with them, I hate all the fuzzy bloom lighting effects, and it's way more cartoonish than TS3 even - but I like it a little better than I did at first.
It's just way too Sims Free Play or Sims Social-looking for me. To me this just confirms that it started out as an online game. That makes me worried for the gameplay, too, but I'm keeping an open mind - or at least trying to - until we see more next week.
But I am seriously worried about Build mode and Create-A-Style. It sounds like they have simplified Build Mode, and not in a good way. And according to a magazine article that's being circulated around the web, there will be no CAST in the game at all. That was one of the best features of TS3. If they've eliminated it, I just don't even... :?
