First of all Tangie, DM and Pyschen great pictures and some interesting bloopers. :D
As we all know I am incredibly dense when it comes to techie things.
DM I read that mod the sims blog and am lost. I do use the short cut TS3EP10 instead of the launcher. Is that the same thing they are talking about?
The pictures are so small that even when I saved the file by bookmarking it I still can't make out what he is doing with changing words or file names, :oops:
DM how did you straighten out your launcher? Don't you still have to have the launcher to donwload things?
Tangie your short cut is different then mine, where did you get that one?
Reggie hopefully Mike can fix my problems with my computer tonight then I will follow your instructions to fix my game.
Everybody, after I get things fixed and all my store stuff back and all is well can I uninstall Origin and still download from the exchange and store?
When I uninstalled Origin this time it said all kinds of threats about not being able to reverse things and not being able to play sims3. What is that all about? Since I don't play online and have no plans to is this a big deal? I would love to keep things simple. My old brain is struggling to keep up with all this stuff. :?
edit: Ok things are weird. I went to the dash board and showed every thing uninstalled I decided try and download one of the things and it did and said
downloaded. Exited game went to launcher and it said error can't connect with Origin. no surprise since it is not installed. checked to see if iten dl'd and it did and further more it showed all kinds of stuff installed in the installed section. :shock:
Went to purchase history and installed some new stuff and iit now shows installed. Launcher not happy about not being connected to Origin, but oh well. Now going to put game in so can check dasboard again. be back in a bit.
