I messed a bit with beach city last night , I placed a few newer store venues that weren't there, and i realized that "branch at the old mill" was not showing up in my library, so i went and uninstalled it, and reinstalled it today, so hoping it will be there when i get back in game.
I'm glad they stopped making store content, now i know exactly how much i need to save up to complete my collection.
It's an irony that once i stopped being able to mass buy simpoints, they rolled out the really good stuff lol. Even though their quality got a tad bit..worse..They got sloppy , a lot more than they were. I show pics of the new one from Ruthless in FB that showed missing cornices, and Bluebell Flora was talking about horrible looking water, and Ruthless confirmed it, said it looks like jelly. Such a shame , a unique idea with potential, beautiful architecture and such a sloppy and rushed out job :(
LOL little one figured out how to pull the toy on his relax chair , so it can play music. He was kicking it up until now, but since yesterday, he is bringing it closer to him with his leg so he won't have to stretch too much, grabs and pulls..He is doing it all day, unless he is asleep he isn't doing anything else lol ..I think "Twinkle twinkle little star" tune is actually burned in my brain now..And there he goes again ...and again..O.O
I played a bit last night as I said above, I edited an old saved female sim, tried to make her look like a Native American, gave her a twin sister, and plopped them in Beach City in one of the ranch Legacy lots. I cheated a bit to give them the essentials, and now i haver them in UNI. Rain is a tomboy and i'm planning to make her a lifeguard, and scuba dive, and Nala is a hopless romantic, with the equestrian trait and i'm planning to get her working with horses.
Here is a beautiful shot (it was raining hard a little earlier) on their way to the "carnival" and roller coaster lots - I've placed those near the military base

And this is Nala..who is supposed to have the equestrian trait, but is a coward and is scared on the carousel...
She is not scared of this though...Weird sims (horrible lighting)
She did get a bad moodlet afterwards though (too scary)
So i got them in a sorority, and on the first night there was a keg party and guess who accepted a dare to dive in the garbage...Yup, Rain ..in her formal dress and high hills
And Rain, in the rain, running to class (love this shot for some reason)
My game is being weird by the way..in a really good way..It's not acting up. its smooth, and loads fast...It's not just Beach City, it's like that in UNI too, and in CAS, and the patterns in in Create a style...Hair and clothing in CAS used to take forever to load. Even when i loaded a big lot it took a while to load the patterns..no it does it in 1-2 seconds..I don't know if it's the last patch, the latest mods I really don't know what it is but I really really like this...
WR - about uploading the whole family. I'm planning to do that , but I just want to create our real home too, and upload them in one file, it's gonna take a while now as with my time I can no longer build a house in one play session (10h+ at least ahh the good old times lol)So i'll just need to get around and start working on that when i feel like it lol
