I'll try to have the task manager open next time I play to check RAM usage as I'm playing.
I watch the Resource Monitor to see how my RAM usage is going. I don't generally have high RAM usage unless I have too much going on. For example I currently have a game with over 20 sims and 2 pets and a largeish garden on a 60x60 lot and if I'm not careful I can end up with it going over 3 GB. Mostly it doesn't though.
