LOL! The way you asked that just struck me funny. :D
I can verify it does happen, because it has happened to me. I was able to correct it by regenerating a brand new The Sims 3 folder in Documents/Electronic Arts and reinstalling all my EA store CC. I started out with the worlds, just to see if I could get them to install properly, before I installed anything else. I was able to get Lunar Lakes, Hidden Springs, Riverview, and Barnacle Bay to install -- each only showing one world in the menu of available worlds. Everything else installed fine, after that, also.
But I have no idea whether it was something in my game folder that corrupted it, or if my launcher was just plain wonky, for a while.
