@gngrsnp: At some point your game got corrupted very badly, if it allowed male sims to age up into female hair and face paint. I haven't a clue why. But just that fact, even apart from routing issues, would be enough for me to give up on that world. I understand why you called it a loss.
I think it is getting more and more difficult for modders to keep up with EA game changes after each patch or expansion/stuff pack. We all need to be increasingly careful with mod use. It seems that any little thing can conflict.
It is quite possible that something in Mr. Hawks fixes did not play well with Nraas mods. This would not fault either of them. But it might illustrate how it is becoming harder to piece together game solutions. I keep remembering way back in the beginning, that Pescado emphasized we would have to choose just one modder and stay with only them, because of the way the game is coded in one jumbled mess. He also said it would get worse, as time went by. For quite a while, we've seemed to be able to do a small amount of mix and match with mods. Perhaps that time is coming to an end.
After all, even EA is having problems with their own game components failing (ie the in-game world editor and the moveobjects on cheat; and even the static motives cheat is conflicting with premium content). So it is probably little wonder that we are seeing more difficulties cropping up with mods added on top of mods, made by different people who are not conferring with each other as they make changes.
I cannot imagine that conditions will improve, when the next expansion is released in September. I don't envy modders the challenge, although some (like Pescado) probably thrive on it.
