Custom Sim passed to me through Simport!
So I am dealing with another technical malfunction with Showtime (can't interact with one of my sims anymore) and I decide to try to start a new game to see if this is happening with new games as well...

I want to use Simport but I may hold off until this gets fixed. Luckily my copy of Showtime is coming by camel so I won't get it for several more days.
I don't understand how you would pass a virus or a key logger this way. If you could attach them to SIMs, then there would be a risk with the Exchange. The worst thing I've seen come off the Exchange is bad CC. If you're running a virus protection program and have your firewall turned on, things coming through Simport should get scanned by your machine.
You did. Simgurusnelson posted that they were aware of the issue and that it would be fixed 'very soon'.
