Unable to Sign in to Sims 3 Launcher
Every time I launch the Sims 3 it prompts me to sign in, but the main screen is just a blank blue screen. The pop up will appear for me to put in my password but it wont either accept my password, or it just bounces back like it didn't register my password was put in. I changed my password to see if it was a unaccepted character but still does not let me sign into the launcher. I cleared my Microsoft Edge Cache and Cookies. Still won't let me log in, or download stuff from my library.45Views0likes1CommentSims 3 Package files not showing up!!
Hello! I’m currently trying to play the sims 3 but none of my custom content ( package files) show up or like register. The Download files show up no problem so i’m not sure what the problem is. i’ve scoured the entire internet to find a solution but absolutely nothing is working. i’ve downloaded the framework stuff out the mods folder in username/documents/electronic arts/ the sims 3 still nothing there isn’t any cache files for me to clear i’ve made sure there was permissions etc. I reset my laptop and it updated to windows 11 and automatically had my folders be with one drive, i’ve never used one drive before so i didn’t know it could cause problems when i read that i deleted it and that’s when my download files were able to show up but not the package files. i’m honestly confused and at a lost i don’t know what to do next please help!!Solved151Views1like8CommentsCC recipes don't show up in game
I have CCLoader and all the required files in order for custom recipes to work in my game. The issue is they are not showing up in my game. From what I can see, only 2/10 of the custom recipes I downloaded show up in game. This has happened all of a sudden as I know about a month ago I had no issues with seeing the CC recipes in game. All my other CC shows up, but its the recipes that I'm having problems with! I have attached an image of what my Food/Recipe CC folder looks like!Solved180Views0likes6CommentsGame Seemingly Incompatible with Mod the Sims Content?
I know the title is a little strange, but I'm honestly not sure how else to describe the issue. Whenever I put my mods folder in the Sims 3 folder, I get a black screen on launch that never progresses into the main menu and can only be closed with the task manager. My mods are organized by where they were downloaded from, so I was able to discern that something from Mod the Sims is the problem, since the game opens just fine with all the other mods whenever the mod the sims folder is removed. However, no matter how many mods I weed out, nothing seems to work except removing the content entirely. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue where you had trouble downloading from a specific website? I've used mod the sims in the past, so I'm not sure why this has become an issue this time around. It's very frustrating, and I'm wondering if there's something obvious that I'm missing? Also, it might be helpful to know that I've installed all the Sims 3 Store content, and I've also made extensive use of the mods / cc dashboard tool. I have no corrupt files, and I've tried to eliminate all conflicts, but that doesn't seem to help. Any advice would be appreciated!97Views1like2CommentsCustom store content won't download
Nothing I do will make the custom content and worlds download into my game again. It was fine yesterday, and not getting the content that I paid for is so frustrating. It's like the items need to be unzipped. All come from the Sim 3 store. Any ideas??107Views1like3CommentsNo cc showing up in game

Hello, ive seen alot of discussion on the launcher having a system failure when downloading .sims3pack cc. so i deleted all of them. But, I have tried downloading packages as normal and it still hasn'[t worked! I have redone the framework for a new mods folder and yata yata, but still nothing. Deleted everything from the cache, and deleted my sims 3 folder and started over. Is there any solution? i have scrolled through reddit for hours but nothing has worked.158Views1like3CommentsWindows 11 and CC Magic Issues
First off, I'm an Oldie, so I'm not very technical. I haven't played for a while. My adult child helped me get all set up on my new laptop, but the game won't run on CC Magic with Windows 11. She did some stuff to get it working from EA, BUT I have a bunch of duplicate items showing up. I want to clean that all out so that game runs smoothly and to get rid of what I no longer want. I did that in the Sims3 Launcher. I want to clean out CC Magic to remove duplicates and just use the regular Launcher from now on. Inside the CC Magic, I have these folders with something in them: Packages Sims3Packs Store Sims3Packs I don't mind an involved, long search to clean it up if it makes the game work better, not have duplicate items, and I can get rid of the stuff I don't use or like anymore. Can anyone help me with this in simple terms of what I need to do? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Kerri297Views0likes10CommentsSims 3 Crashing on Launch with Mods
I have the alder lake patch installed, which fixed the problem of the game not launching at all on my newer laptop. However, whenever I add my mods folder (even if I bypass the launcher), the game opens a window with a black screen and then promptly closes. I've tried narrowing down my mods to identify the culprit, but no amount of downsizing seems to work unless I have only the NRaas mods installed. I don't understand why this is so hard because I've used mods in the past on a different PC, but for whatever reason, I can't get the game to work on my current system. I have the mods dashboard installed, and it does identify some conflicts, but I thought they were false warnings because it pretty much only occurs with (1) multiple packages that are part of the same mod download or (2) various mods by the same creator that shouldn't conflict. The dashboard isn't identifying any corrupt files, and I've made sure to only download up to date mods, but whenever I try to troubleshoot this issue, I'm told either (1) that it's an compatibility or corruption issue, or (2) that my mods folder isn't properly set up with the two subfolders and the Resource.cfg file. I've tried everything I can think of, including deleting my cache files and generating a new "The Sims 3" documents folder, but nothing seems to work, and it's very frustrating since I rely on mods to fix a lot of issues in the game. I realize there may not be much I can do in this case, but if anyone has any advice or suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it.Solved169Views0likes2Comments
