Re: Issue redeeming Sims 3 World codes

So, earlier today I purchased the roaring heights standard version, and it does say on the ea app that I own it, however, I have no idea how to download it. I can't find any place to do it, already tried to check the sims 3 online website and in game store, but nothing. I even contacted ea, but no answer so far. Did anyone else have this situation? Please help 🙏

    I had the same issue earlier today and talked to ea support who did confirm it's been a reported issue for some time now and they're currently investigating the problem, they offered me a refund on my purchase as a compensation. Very upset I cant just have what I paid for tho :(

    Thank you so much! I didn't see the option to talk via chat. Will do that. That's unfortunate, I hope it's fixed soon

    UPDATE - So I did reach a customer support agent and yeah, it's a recurring issue that they're currently trying to fix, hopefully soon. Nothing to do but wait for now :/ However, I do think it's wrong of them that they're still selling the packs that don't work. They should take them down from the store for however long it takes to fix them, instead of selling broken products.

    There’s an option at the bottom that says “still having issues?” I hit contact us. 
    I signed in and filled out the little questionnaire. It’s basically just asking what the issue is and you have an option to upload a file. 
    If you scroll down again on the next page after the questionnaire there’s an option to talk to someone via chat. 
    That’s how I got there anyway! 

    I just seen that they closed my case as no fix available. So that’s a bummer. I tried to install the world with the code via the sims 3 store also with no luck. I talked to three people. They said they’re working on it and they’ve gotten a lot of reports about it.

    For now I've reported a problem through the ea app. I'm assuming they might send an email or something if they see my message... I don't really know where else I could contact them

    I feel like we’re probably in the same boat. Mine just says “in game content” and has no install button. It’s not present on my computer at all. Files nor launcher. It’s in my purchase history and says I own it. I’ve jumped through all the common hoops to fix it. I also just finished up chatting with support. We didn’t reach a solution, but I can reach out for updates. 😔

    I have the same issue with Dragon Valley and Roaring Heights (both Gold Editions). I sent a ticket through EA support, this is a big problem.

    I have the same situation I seen that you can redeem the game code through the sims 3 store under “my store account” but it just won’t do anything when I do….
