@Ekoponny: this is a known travel bug (for world adventures and university as well).
You can fix it with 2 ways. If you saved before you went to the future under a different save name, go back to the old save. I would recommend installing traveller from NRAAS to prevent losing your family tree when traveling.
If you did not do that, you can install overwatch from NRAAS and do clean up genealogy. It should repair most of the broken links. If it doesn't, Mastercontroler has the option to add family members back manually.
