@WinMacSims3: So it seems sprinklers only work with conventional methods of gardening. Probably needs modding. I'll add the conclusion to this to the first page.

This game won't use more then 4 GB of RAM ever. It's a 32 bit application so adding more RAM will just allow you to run more programs in the back ground.
@Sim2Blade: As in you don't have the option or as in doesn't do anything, sims just use any ? Does that apply to dreampots only or beds as well ?
