I've tried all of that and more, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I've tried different saves I've reset the buildings, and I think its only the bot arena and observatory that don't work for me, I can't even place the community object down on open lots whereas I can with all the other community objects.
To restate my problem, I am unable to have my sims interact with the observatory and the bot arena so I am unable to either of the 2 new careers introduced with Into the Future :/
I don't see a lot of others if any with this issue, so I'm hoping its just me not getting something right..
