1. Are you using mods (Please answer with: Yes, Never, Removed) Yes.
2. Are you using custom content (as in clothing and objects) ? Some, not many.
3. Do you have Into the Future or just the Patch ? Both.
4. Which Patch Level are you at ? 1.63
5. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ? Existing.
6. Did you transfer an existing Sim over or are they new/Pre-Made ? Pre-made.
7. What town are you currently playing ? EA or Custom ? EA towns, tried a couple of different ones.
8. What is your Operating System (Mac, XP, Vista, Win 7) ? Windows 7
9. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game ? DVD for everything except Into the Future which is download although they seem to work together fine.
10. Are you reporting for the Future-World, Uni-World, Home-World or WA-World ? Future.
I have a few problems after installing the latest patch. First thing I noticed was I could not start a new game, as each time I got to the new town and tried to make a pre-made family my active family, it got stuck on the loading circle before it even went on to the main loading screen with the tips.
I then realised that I could no longer manually age my sims with testingcheatsenabled true and Trigger Age Transition, and had to use cake. When I clicked trigger, it came up that it was their birthday, froze for a few seconds and then carried on as normal, nothing happening about aging.
The main issue I have now is that when the time traveller comes through the portal, he does not give me the Time Almanac or the opportunity. I can interact with him, learn more about the time almanac, learn about future etc but am not able to actually time travel as I haven't been given the almanac or opportunity and this has happened in mutiple towns with multiple families. I've had the game a week and am really disappointed that I have yet to even get to the future. Any help would be very appreciated.
