Issues with redeeming a game

I bought a new laptop and have created a new EA account and wish to redeem my sims 3 code from a disk I bought previously and have used on another account (I do not have access to this account anymore) however it says that the code is not redeemable because i have used it on another account. Kindly assist me with how to install this on my new device.

MixiePixie You can't register the game a second time, even as the original owner. So if you can't access your old account, then you won't be able to access this content, at least not online. If your base game disc is old enough (manufactured prior to September 2012), you'd be able to install it without connecting to the EA App at all, but that's it.
