Edit: I ran the game without any custom content and my baby is still invisible. What do I do about this? I can't even delete her because I cannot click on her.
Hi LakinDenae, couple of questions. When you say that she was born that way, does that mean that you never saw her at all? I mean, did everything else run normally - the mother giving birth at home/hospital, and can you see the baby's icon on the family tree and on the left hand side of the screen? If you click on the crib you should get the option to 'put baby in crib', in which case does one of the parents actually try to do this or is it as though the baby is missing entirely from the game? If you can get the invisible baby into the crib then you might see thought bubbles floating there if she gets hungry/lonely and then at least we'll know she's in the game. It's horribly frustrating, I know!
In general, still waiting semi-patiently for the iminent patch, but without getting my hopes up too high. Tried to play for a few hours yesterday afternoon but wasted over an hour re-loading after a series of crashes to desktop. Couldn't believe what was happening - I've never had crashes like this before. Just when I thought playing Sims couldn't get any more frustrating! :?
