I guess the patch is the only real solution. I thought if I deleted what was making her invisible, she would just turn into a normal baby. But apparently that isn't the case.
Someone mentioned moving, I've tried moving the family to another home in case of home bugs, no luck.
A horse costume... crumbs! Maybe the baby is invisible due to dodgy CC? I don't know much about CC but there is a long thread by Crinrict on this forum about bad CC and how to get rid of it. Might be worth a try. Otherwise the only other two things I can think to suggest are (1) if you don't mind using mods you could install Twallan's DebugEnabler, which includes a way to fix invisible sims and was suggested to me previously when I had a corrupted outfit on a sim, and (2) try aging up the baby, maybe using a cake, and see if she appears when she becomes a toddler. I'm out of ideas now... I hope you manage to fix it.
