I do have everything set to high, but if you ask me this particular error sounds nothing like lag when looking at other games I've played. And besides, it only really started since I installed Late Night. Everything, got slower and buggier since Late Night.
Absolutely everything is slower and buggier since LateNight (or the update preceding it) for myself and a whole lot of people. An issue
since last October (?) which EA still has done nothing to fix.
If you have stuck or invisible Sims you can try resetting them. In
the cheat window type:
ResetSim firstname lastname
or you can try going to Edit Town, evicting the family to the clipboard and moving them back in.
