monstamunch72 thank you so much for your help. I have tried the other options that you mentioned because I play on the mac and at the moment our downloads tab where we can reinstall store content or cc is crashes. We are currently waiting on an update, but my next question is, will this effect my game in any way? Or what are the other troubleshooting options you have? Bc this occurred after an EA representative was trying to figure out the issue with the Sims 3 Launcher crashing when clicking on downloads.

No worries — that extra info helps a lot. Since you’re on a Mac, the “lot address” text issue itself won’t damage your game or saves — it just means the world reference isn’t displaying properly, but gameplay is fine.
As for the Launcher crashing when reinstalling Store or CC content, that’s a known Mac-side issue with the current EA App / Origin update. EA’s already aware and working on a fix.
For now, try these workarounds:
Clear your Sims 3 cache (those 5 cache files).
Launch the game directly (bypass the Launcher if you can).
If you need to reinstall Store content, do it in small batches, not all at once — that helps avoid Launcher overload.
Back up your Downloads and InstalledContent folders so you don’t lose anything while EA patches it.
The “lot address” text won’t affect your saves, but once EA fixes the Launcher issue, reinstalling or refreshing your Store worlds should also clear that up completely.
